  • Who should be involved in the accreditation process?

It is strongly recommended that the service leads (clinical and non clinical) work together with key representatives of the service to complete the self-assessment. It may also be appropriate to include a patient group representative. It is important to have a cross-section of individuals involved to achieve an accurate assessment of the service and the challenges faced, and to help support ongoing action plans to improve the service.
  • How much does a level 2 assessment cost?

The cost of an assessment is covered in the annual subscription (link to subscription information). A further subscription may be payable if a service requires a bespoke assessment, or if a service cancels an assessment within 4 weeks of the agreed date.
