The British Liver Trust have recently released a patient charter, which has outlined the standards of care that a patient should receive when they are diagnosed with liver disease. The standards have been agreed with BASL (British Association for the Study of Liver), BSG (British Society of Gastroenterology) and the British Liver Nurses Association. A copy of the patient charter can be found on the British Liver Trust website.
In addition to the patient charter, the British Liver Trust have launched a survey for patients diagnosed with liver disease. The survey asks patients about the care they have received in order to help the British Liver Trust campaign more effectively on behalf of all liver patients. Please complete the survey here.
